LuminArte is staying open. Thank you all for your wonderful words of encouragement. We were deeply saddened to have had to notify our loyal customers of our closing. Since we made the announcement that we would be shutting our doors, we've been blown away by an incredible outpour of customer support. Additionally, many businesses have wanted to help, telling us that what we offered, was so unique to so many industries. The tiny staff of Luminarte Inc. was fully prepared to close at the end of February, instead requests have continued to come in and are being fulfilled in an ongoing campaign. Your testimonials have touched the hearts of those in our business that, in turn, have made it possible for us to continue to serve you. LuminArte is currently restructuring and will be staying open!
The unexpected out cry of global orders in the past months has been extremely gratifying and truly a humbling experience. We look forward to serving you with all your favorites from many of our most popular art supplies while introducing exciting changes and new products. Keep an eye out for our vibrant new website with tips, tools, and tricks to getting the most out of your Luminarte products.
During the first three weeks of our transition, we will continue offering a 40% off of retail pricing (midnight June 14th 2009 our prices will return).
Due to overwhelming demand, shipping may take up to 4-6 weeks from date charged. If your shopping cart does not reflect the 40% off, not to worry, ..we

Our Radiant Rain Misters are now packaged with a 'flip top'
and a 2oz bottle with a mister top. This is to encourage the
'blending' of the mica and pigments in the larger bottle, shaking
and stirring, then transferring the paint into the mister for use in
projects.
How Radiant Rain is 'superior'
Product comparison
Some products on the market are a spray 'dye' with no mica at all.
Another competitive product is very 'watery' with some mica, only
applies on paper, and because of the high water content, and low
pigment, it wrinkles paper creating an uneven product.
There is a 'mica only' mist, with no pigment, that you add water to.
About Radiant Rain
an unusual 'hybrid' paint
Our Radiant Rain line is a blend between watercolor and
acrylic.
This means you can be successful in projects using many surfaces!
Using your Mister and Dauber Tops as 'tools'
When using our Radiant Rain Misters and Daubers, you will
think of those 'tops' as a tool, as a painter would think of their
paintbrushes. You should clean after every use, with warm sudsy
water. The quality and density of mica and color in our product is
what gives you those wonderful results you are looking for in your
creative projects. In order to achieve this, your 'tools' should be
handled with care. You will have no clogging or drying out if you
follow this simple rule!
We have found the highest quality mister and dauber tops in
order that your projects can be created with ease.
Just make sure and 'mix' the mica and pigment if they have settled,
thoroughly. It is suggested that you use a stirring device to mix
well, then shake. After blending well, put your paint into the small
bottle, and put on your appropriate tool, and Create to your hearts
desire!
